Aviator Passenger Services is currently seeking agents for Malmö Airport.

Do you want to influence the travel experience for our passengers? Are you someone who enjoys helping others?

Aviator is currently looking for several Passenger Services agents who will be part of the operational team responsible for being the company's face to our travelers. As a Passenger Services agent, you will be part of the Passenger Services department where you will meet travelers daily and contribute to giving them a positive start to their flight experience. We currently offer a need-based employment with hourly pay. The first training course is expected to start in March, but several courses may be held as needed.

As a Passenger Services agent, you will be responsible for: 

🛫 Providing service and answering passengers' questions in a professional manner

🛫 Carefully checking the passenger's ticket and travel documents (e.g., passport and visa) and issuing boarding passes

🛫 Booking assistance for passengers who need extra help

🛫 Charging for any excess baggage or special luggage

🛫 Staffing the bag drop and check-in area

🛫 Applying and following the airline's rules and procedures

To thrive and succeed in the role of Passenger Services agent, you need to be a service-oriented person who puts the passenger first and has an easy time creating professional and pleasant meetings. 

You are flexible, open to change, and feel comfortable in a dynamic work environment, where you can handle unforeseen situations such as delays or canceled flights in an efficient and solution-oriented manner. 

The job requires you to be meticulous, safety-conscious, and responsible for following guidelines and procedures even when the pace is high.

Qualifications for the role

  • You need to have the willingness and ability to work various shifts and you must be able to get to and from the airport at all hours of the day

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have a driver's license

  • You have a good ability to express yourself in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing

  • You must have completed secondary education or equivalent education with passing grades

  • You must have a clean criminal record

  • You should have good computer skills

It is a plus if you also:

  • Have previous experience in ground handling

  • Have system knowledge of Altéa, GoNow, and/or Worldtracer

  • Have previous work experience in service or in a security-classified profession

  • If you have previously worked shifts and/or early mornings

Requirements during the recruitment process

Since the work in this role is performed in a security-classified area, you will need to undergo a security clearance during the recruitment process:

  • Extract from the criminal record without remarks

  • Approved background check from the Swedish Transport Agency 

  • Approved security clearance interview

  • Certificates verifying your employment over the last 5 years. Copies of certificates, grades, employment certificates, etc. will need to be submitted during the recruitment process.

    Good to know: Of course, we ensure that you receive an introductory training with us in the first weeks. The training combines theoretical and practical elements so that you can get comfortable in your role as a Passenger Services agent.

    The position as a Passenger Services agent requires you to work shifts. This means you will have varying working hours, with shifts that can start early in the morning or late in the evening/night, both on weekdays and weekends. Therefore, you must always be able to get to and from the airport regardless of the time of day.
